I posted this on my home server forum, and while not 'scout' related, I thought you guys might get a laugh as well....

OK, maybe it was just me, but I found this pretty entertaining.

Monday evening, I get notices that my last two auctions for water sold on the bazaar (500 units/2000 creds). I shoot the person that bought them a tell to let them know I had another 3k-4k units available should they need more.

They respond with 'how much'. I respond back '4 creds per unit'. The response '4000x4=16000! You are asking too much'. So I tell him/her that they just bought 500 at 4creds/unit and that 4/unit is what I charge, but they don't have to buy the full 4k, I was just letting them know that's how much I had.

I then get a tell 'I paid 2000 for the water, not 4 creds/unit'.

At that point, I am baffled (especially since they bought 500 units for 2000 creds), so I figured I'd cut my loses. I then get a tell that if they had known it was my water, they wouldn't have bought it off the bazaar because I wanted 4/unit for it. At that point I was amazed, and laughing my ass off at the logic that would have been used to come to that conclusion.

Anyway, I got a laugh out of it...I just wish I could remember the name of the guy/gal for those times when I need another laugh.

That is absolutely hilarious. Man. They need to put a little calculator in game for the folks who've forgotten how to do math.

Or at least a reminder to take off their shoes if they need to count into the teens.

Uhr, you should have cut your losses and said to forget about the 4cr/unit and just offered him another 500 units at 2000. Now THAT would have been funny.

You could have really screweed the guy up saying I'll sell you the 500 units for 3000 credits.....
