Thread: Scout Corrospondance: Program still alive?
I was just wondering when/if scouts would be seeing follow-ups to the issues raised since our last batch of info as well as the present issues with mask-scent, harvesting, etc.
I know several professions have not received any follow-up since receiving the 'we'll look into it' responses a couple weeks ago, and as such, was just wondering if the corrospondant program was still 'working' or if it was starting to dwindle already.
Uhr,
It's not dwindling. If it were, we'd not have gotten posts from Holo yesterday and today.
Here's the status from my end right now.
I've got my list of Scout concerns, but I am not going to turn it in until I am given a green light by the Devs. They have already indicated to us that the are still working on getting the changes implemented from our last list and I do not want to overwhelm them with complaints or new ideas, especially considering that my list is pretty long now. ![]()
Keep in mind that the Devs are still in the process of hiring an Asst. Community Relations Manager who will be handling the day-to-day contact with me and the other Correspondents. I expect that we'll see much greater activity with the program once that person is hired and trained up.
Also keep in mind that both Q and GreenMarine (the Scout Dev) are both on vacation right now - their first in over a year - so I am also loathe to contact the Devs unless absolutely necessary (like with the Harvesting issues).
So its not dead. Its just taking a bit longer due to unforeseen circumstances.
**edit**, sometimes even I get surprised with how politicianlike I sound. ![]()

Glad to hear man.
I know it's a firestorm out there for them trying to cover all the bases, and with folks being on vacation (man does that sound nice) a little slow-down is expected.
I guess I just wanted to make sure the FC's here weren't being sent off the way the TL's did for DAoC ![]()
