I did a pretty good check on this yesterday and I was getting xp for traps and camps. make sure you check your xp before your survival xp before you start the crafting process then wait about 10 seconds after the item shows in your inventory. if you still dont see any xp, i would suggest that you /bug it. Also, you arent maxed out on survival xp are you?

Well, I did a factory run of some Field Bases and got some Survival XP for that run. (looked to be the Standard 10% for factory runs)

The amount is pretty small for the lower level camps. I was getting 30 XP per basic camp when I tested this on Test Center.

I've heard reports (but haven't checked) that you get as much as 500 XP for HTFB Ranger camps.

There is NO SPAM about this. It just shows up, like any other crafting XP.

I'm pretty sure the amount of xp you get is twice the number of resources that go into the product. I'd check this but the servers are down right now.

If you're a scout and not a ranger yet, your item with the largest xp reward would be the adhesive mesh [assuming you have trapping IV]. It gives somewhere around 70xp, maybe 73xp if you're on practice mode. Not a ton but if all the items give xp equal to twice the resources then it's probably better to make things that use as many as possible, just to save yourself some clicking.

I've been doing real well grinding high quality camps

Something odd last night.. you know when you put the crosshairs over the skill bar (when you have it displayed).. I was reading the number of points I had and I saw it increase by one and I wasn't doing a thing. I thought that was strange, but heck I'll take it.

Are you selling or giving away your camp kits? Could be usage XP.

I guess this is a good change, but since I was a Scout/Artisan the old way was good for me. I made it all the way up through Engineering III and half of Engineering IV just by crafting camps & traps.
