Thread: Attention all novice scouts!
This is not to all of you but most, when you sell meat, hide or bone on the bazzar DONT put 12 pieces or 39 or 102 piece stack for sale. If you are going to try and sell your resources try placing stacks of at least 500 pieces on the bazzar. Ans FYI 8 pieces of garbage meat are not worth 3k.
Most people who use these resources are looking for high overall quality then unit toughness, decay resistence, shock resistence, potential energy, flavour etc depending on who's using it. Some however just want as much meat as possible to grind out certain professions so they are looking for your services but you have to be able to provide what they need if you want to sell.
If you know someone who does this, set them straight, if you do it DONT. You can make a lot of money selling meat and hides(not too sure about bone) good herb meat usually sells for 10-30 credits per unit depending on OQ and PE, and bioengineers use dath insect meat same prices same guidelines, docs use avian meat a lot, armoursmiths use wooly hide with high OQ UT SR and DR. But these people need stack that they can use to make more than one item so this has to stop.
The best way for a scout to make money is to sell herb meat, insect meat and wooly hide for 10-30 c/u depending on quality, but if you want to make a steady income just kill anyhting and harvest the meat and put up stacks of like 1000 for 2-3 c/u and youll sell out everyday, try placing them on the coronet bazzar as everyone usually buys from there and youll make steady cash.
But for the love of the scout gods make sure its one type and at least 500 units per stack, and remember 4 peices of meat from that butterfly you killed are NOT worth 25oo credits![]()
Oh and im not trying to step on anyones toes here as im a master scout myself and i harvest and sell a lot of meat. But my other character is a bio engineer and its **edit** frustrating to try and find grinding meat at 100c/u for 3 pieces![]()
Kyn,
A helpful reminder is never a bad thing. Thanks for posting this.
