Thread: Trapping xp doesnt work for me?
Weird.. im scout 4/0/4/2, did mch and now almost mcommando. In the meantime now, i wanted to gain some trapping xp when i dont have anything better to do, so i can lvl up in that right away when i want to go bh.
But, i can make the basic traps..no xp. i can throw them (and when it hits)..no xp. what do i do wrong here guys??
Delta, thank you. That must be it, the fact that i didnt try it on low lvl crits.. dang it,it will feel so stupid to go around killing worrts as a master commando

You aren't going to geta spam message when you craft traps for XP. Look at your bar, then craft a trap, and then check it again. The XP should be there. Remember - you get SURVIVAL XP for crafting Traps, not trapping XP.
As for throwing - well, a couple of things could be happening. You could be maxed out for your level (but I doubt it, as you are trying to level). There is a bug with the last trap in a stack that sometimes causes them to hit but not grant XP. You could also be trying to trap critters that are too high for your trapping skill. Try using every trap you can make and hitting lower level creatures.
If none of this works - send in a CSR ticket. That's just weird.
