I've been on various planets today, and I keep getting aggro'd WHILE masked. I understand, if my mask scent breaks, they aggro me, sometimes, right?

They aggro'd me, and my mask scent didn't break.....what's going on?

The same has been happening to me. Aggro without mask scent being broken first. Not getting xp from mask scent until i attack a creature, then it seems to check and give me xp or break the mask scent.

I've also noticed that the server i played on today, Ahazi, was fairly laggy at times, but i was testing out mask scent in squill caves and could absolutely not get any xp at all.

Guys,

Lemme ask these questions in the Correspondent forum, but I want to remind you that the caves area all weird places - don't expect everything to work the same in there.

Hopefully this is just isolated occurances. I don't want to deal with more maskscent issues. They've been the bane of my existence.

Worked fine for me today but I did have a bonus to my maskscent via clothing. I had a total of +47 to camo and+117 to Maskscent but I was able to run by Kusak and them no pay attention to me. On occaion though if I hung around long enough it would break.

Beats me too. Went into one of the caves on Corellia and was never aggro'd until I shot, and maskscent never did break the whole time. It ran out, I reapplied and cleared the cave.

Yay for me...lol

Still having this problem, now with a different char on a different server. Mask scent is up, not broken, yet i get aggroed. Not getting xp most of the time, until i start shooting them, then i get it. I've tried removing and reapplying mask scent just to be sure, but it might be due to caves, this is happening in squill cave on tatooine.

Try it outside caves. Like I said, caves are screwy.

Mask scent doesn't drop since the last patch when you fight. Read the notes.

Your mask scent isn't a guarantee unless your crawling on your belly, (2 patches ago) and even then odds are your gonig to break eventualy if you get close enough or hang out too long.

Just stay out of range, and keep your burst run handy

This happened to me too, and I submitted a /bug report.

I used to be able to stroll through the squill caves no problem. Lately (since the last patch?) I can go in with /maskscent on, go a little bit in, get aggro'd w/o /maskscent breaking, get incapped, and recover with my little /maskscent symbol still up. I press the hotkey again and it take /maskscent off and I reapply--samet thing of course.

I too thought it was just a cave thing. But it's happened a few times just roaming around Corellia on missions or going from Espa to FT on my mount.

Camo kits don't help either. I trained in Wayfaring just to try it and no luck. Bleh... I want my maskscent back
