What worked for me today is find a lair that will spawn creatures you can kill fast, gather your resources while new creatures spawn, and continue. Worked for me.

If you also plan on learning the Exploration line, buy those skills first up to level 3 or 4. The extra xp maskscent gives you when hiding from aggressive creatures can quickly add up while you continue to harvest. Unfortunately, at level 2 when you get the skill, it is still useless (maybe Bothans can use it effectively).

What are your best tips to getting regular scouting experience (the one where you have to harvest) as fast as possible?

Get Mask sent then run around Squill cave for a while NEVA FAILS!
