I have thousands of hides and bones. When I craft one in front of a crafting station (the weapon/droid/generic one) I do not have the opiton of making a schematic. I tried giving the resources to another person, he could not make one either. Anyone else encountered this?

I think you also have to be using a weapon, droid, generic item crating tool also. Don't know for sure, I'll get in game and find out for sure.

Crazy's right.

You need a weapons/droid/general tool, and you need to be standing near a weapons crafting station.

The generic kit you start with won't do it.

You'll get a pop up as to whether you want to make a schematic or a protoype.
