I've been scratching alot at the sand and well it seems I foraged 2 units of fishing bait after about 30 units of other... granola like stuff., But its possible I dug em out of a nest but I don't think I did. I was talking with another n00b in the street when I started foraging. She wanted to know what I found and at the bottom of inventory was fishing bait, after success message. Has thishappened to anyone else? They were bugs in a jaror something but the description clearly reads fishingbait.

I guess it can, as you don't get bait out of lairs. Only things come out of lairs are eggs and jars of bugs that are not bait.

You can only get fish bait through regular ole' scout foraging.

I didnt have regular forage yet only medical. I'm sure of this because default icons are different I would have noticed.It must be very rare to do with med forage.Out of about 60med forages I recieved 2 insect baits. I finally got forage last night. Now I get fishing bait more regularly..
