So I took this job hunting meat for a Doc on Gorath. She tells me that there's a big spawn on Corellia she wants me to hunt.

"Sure," says I, "what meat is it?"

"Insect."

Oh joy of joys! So I spend the next three days shooting butterflies getting crap 11 units at a time. Takes me three days to get 1800 and this lady wants a 10k stack.

She sends me a tell last night saying that the spawn will probably be up today and was a little dissappointed that I didn't get what she wanted. I felt like such a loser and sorry little Master Scout. Then it got worse.

A good guild buddy of mine asks, "Well, why didn't you hunt dalyrakes?"

DOH!!!

I didn't even know they EXISTED on Corellia.

Yeah, I learned my lesson.

There's some talk on the Ranger forum about the idea of the Ranger vendor. I'm thinking about finding the more important spawns that go requested, do the missions and get the meat, then set a going rate that is fair for all Rangers and offering it up through a vendor. That way, requests like Tat avain meat, 10k stack for 20cpu might just dissappear.
