Anybody make any decent amount of money by foraging?

What about bait, does this sell very well?

Hahaha, it's all in the marketing my friend. I sold three or four, five use jars of chum bait on the bazaar for 3000 apiece. At the same time, I sold three jars of foraged worm bait for 1000. Gave a little blurb in the seller's description about how nothing says EAT ME to that giant catch like yummy chum bait.

Stopped doing it after awhile because I figured I was just taking advantage of noobs who didn't know that there is no difference ;-) I felt too guilty.

And I have been toying with the idea of selling foraged food as well. Maybe buy a satchel and fill it with assorted stuff. Most everything I find has a little mind enhancer to it and is low stomach filling. Might actually sell.

I don't sell them over the bazaar that often, but I will gather creature samples for special orders if the price is right. In case you don't know, artisans put them into creature enclosures. When theenclosuresare used theytrigger an animation of thelittle creatures flying around. Some people like to used them as eye candy for special occasions, or even just to release for fun. Other than that I haven't had much luck selling foraged items since the first few months of the game.

sadky enuff, the only time I forage is when I run out of pet food or need fishing bait. I make a killing of BE's selling them fish meat, shell fish, mollusks, etc...

Hehe, I just recently made a killing off of selling foraged items. I was hunting with a group for hours, and the doc died and cloned across the planet. ANyways, everyones buffs started running out, and the doc got halfway to us and died again. We considered sending an escort, but decided to keep moving. We stopped to camp to figure out what we would do, and I started foraging up some really good stuff while we were talking. I told them that I got a good bunch of food buffs, and I was the only guy with scout in the group, so I just sold them. I think I got a few people up to 1k per itembecause they had some with pretty good stats and very little filling. The group was full, and everyone bought a bunch. It was pretty sweet. Only thing was it took me forever to forage enough up, I was constantly foraging even when I was trading. But we were all getting healed by our little novice medic who must have maxed his xp pretty quick cause he left to get trained, but anyways, yeah, it was cool. I think it was the longest time I ever spent in a camp- it auto disbanded and we had toput another up.But it was a good thing we stopped to heal and forage, because the doctor, as it turned out, was playing us the whole timeand actually been buffing people inside the city
