Thread: Adding a Request Posting to the Bazaar...
Right now I can sell, Buy and retrieve on the Bazaar. But what if I want something that's not listed? What if I want a black cloak but all the one's listed are red?
I'm throwing this out in this board for two reasons,
1.
Stupid Enter Key!!!
Anyway,
1) As one of the posts pointed out earlier there is demand, especially directed at scouts (who may experience a severe hurting IF creature harvestors are re-introduced), that apparently isn't being met.
2) I can't get a better rifle because no one seems to be making it.
I realize posting on the bazaar must be controlled, but what I'm thinking is this. You post requested itemwith an advertised price (that you're agreeing to pay) along with the region you want the request going out to. Picture the same board that appears when you sell only with requested price, or with a starting bid. Artisans, weaponsmiths, scouts, medics, etc. then agree to meet you're price or offer a bid for a lower price.
I could be asking for 500 units of metal and be offering 1000 credits. Mike the miner then can send a tell offering to make the deal.
OR if it's auctioning, Mike can offer to do it at 900 if someone has already agreed to 1000. picture it as bidding for a contract. lowest bid wins out.
I could also look and say "Hey I've got 500 units of Insect Meat and I'll sell it for that price."
Wild,
One of the drawbacks of the bazaar is that you aren't going to find a lot of the high level items on it, simply because of the 3000 credit sale limit. So for high end weapons, you are going to have to find a weaponsmith.
While making the bazaar easier to use is a good goal, the fact that it doesn't have these requests means that you are required to use other players to help you find what you are looking for. This creates the need for socialization, which leads to friendships, etc. So it's kind of got a cross purpose in being less than user friendly. ![]()
