I went back two pages and didn't see a similarished post, so here we are.

What armor would you suggest a Scout use? I know we don't need much, or any at all when hunting. But if we PVP, should we really have a full set on standby? I could see only needing boots and leggings here. It's just that I have mostly full set of Chitin, with Maboriweave Boots and Bone armor gloves, but I rarely use my Chitin armor in the field.

Do you think it would be good enough just keeping armor "below the belt" so to speak? heh. Just wanted a possible answer from the folks around here on what a Scout might want to keep for situation. The encumbrances on some of these are just staggering, I know I can do without.

I used to wear Mabari when I was out hunting, but I opted to drop it once I began rifling more, as none of the creatures I was hunting were getting to within melee distance.

Right now, I usually carry a set of Padded around as an emergency backup in case of PvP, but with knockdowns, bleeds, 17 rancors coming at you, etc. I rarely have time to get the gear on before I'm scratching my newly cloned head wondering which Star Destroyer just ran my ass over.

So, I guess I would suggest having a set of armor (whatever you can find that's good quality) as a backup for PvP. Having a set of Mabari for hunting if you are a brawler or pistoleer is also advisable. But if you'rea carbineer or a Rifleman, don't bother. Go for the intimidation value of a good set of clothing instead.
