Any idea how the DPS (dam per sec)is calculated inthrowing traps? What is the speed of throwing traps?

No numbers show up, so I just look at how much mind bar is taken away and guess...

Also from a purely DPS standpoint is it better to use2 Headshot2's or a Sharp Bone Spur trap followed up by a Headshot2?

Rumor,

As of right this moment - use the bone spur followed by headshot 2. The bone spur does a pretty significant amount of damage...in my opinion between 300-500 points.

However, it's getting nerfed in the next update. So this may change.

One point about using the Bone Spur or any trap is that the creature will immediately agro on you if you use a trap on it. If you stay back and snipe a few Headshot's first, then throw the Bone Spur, it may never figure out where you are before it's already dead. Less healing time for you.

Another point to remember is that a Trap will never kill a creature outright but can take it down to 1 point in a pool which usually only takes one final shot to finish it off.
