Which is better to lead off with and why?

I depends whether you are going after body or mind. If it is a creature/person likely charge and have a significant close range battle, I go with overcharge, so I can switch to pistol at close range and still due battle. If if is something I can kill before it closes in, I go with the mind shot. I usually go with head shot first (if you have that) to make them dizzy and give continued damage, and use head shot 1 rather than head shot 2, as it is quicker.

I am missing something. Does overchargeshot tend to hit body? I thought it was random like most everything else?

Is overchargeshot supposed to do more damage in general that headshot?

If headshot1 is faster then why ever use headshot2 if you know that you can't kill something in one shot?

Overcharge is random, but tends to get a lot of health damage. I read the comparison of the mind shots on the marksman forum, but can't remember the exact speed/damage modifiers. Head shot 2 does more damage though, I think 50% more.

Guys,

Overcharge shot is not something you want to be using consistently. Each time you use it, you damage the rifle. I for one don't want to burn out an 85k T21 for a slightly harder hit at first. Start of with Mindshot 1/2 then followup with headshot 2 and warning shot as needed.

That's an interesting point I never noticed Delta... I do have a question though. Mindshot hasn't been doing ANY damage when I use it. I've abandoned it altogether in favor of Headshot1/2. I actually macroed an attack combo for them,

F5 is /Aim /Headshot1

F6 is /Aim /Headshot2

And I alternate depending on how much damage I need to do, what traps I'm throwing, or how much trouble I'm in.

It takes alittle longer but I'm scoring some more damage I think. I only use Overchargeshot with my secondary weapon (Pistol) when blowing up lairs. Keeps them around long enough to empty them out, but does some major damage while I'm working through them.

Wild,

Mind shot is a "mind bleed" style attack. Hit it once in the beginning of the fight and don't use it again. The bleed will slowly take down the mind of your victim, while you keep hitting it with head shots and warning shots. The bleed can be pretty significant - I generally get a bleed of 600 points every 10-12 seconds with mind shot 2 off my T21. That can add up quickly, when coupled with a headshot 3 of 1200-1600 from the correct distance.

Scary, ain't I?

Yes and Mindshotcan continue to due damage for a long time. I often use it when fighting superior enemies (e.g. stormtroopers) - get a mindshot of first, then a headshot or 2 till I start getting hit, run away and recover, and let the minshot damage take effect before I return for another round.
