...of Master Scouts. I finally got it done yesterday. Woohoo! A little help from Dabomf's (sp?) camping macro starting on Friday, and I got the survival up to level 4 Sat. Then I just needed to hack away at the Scouting xp for my Hunting. I had already gotten more then enough apprentice xp, so didn't need to worry about that.

It has been a fun and rigerous treck to get master of a full profession. A lot of fun, and rewarding. One of the best, most useful things for me were the traps, and being able make camps to heal up. The last two traps you get are the best, sooo useful. I usually group with a friend of mine playing a Trandoshan TK. We smack down reds until he is getting low on pool, then I Wire Mesh and he backs off, we finish the job with him using rifle. Works great, last night we were taking down mountain worrts on Tatooine. With some miner medic and dancing skills, the camps made this adventure very do able.

I have gotten some good ideas and advice from these scout boards, and enjoy coming here talking with you guys. I sometimes visit other boards for my secondary professions, but they are not like this one. I hope I can continue contributing with helpful advice to those on the path. Now I will be focusing on my secondary proffesions, as I begin the long journey into Ranger.

continue from previous post.......continue the Scout/Ranger line, get my pistal up(done) and get some smuggler. I like some of the smuggler stuff, like slicing and underworld contacts. Very spy like. (remember I'm a Bothan, so spy business is in the blood) I have been working on my unarmed as well, but it's very slow going, me not having any HP or strength really. I might trade this for one hand blade mellee instead.

Other then that, Im sure. Thought about maybe trying creature handler. I love that about this game. Concevably, we could all try every profession with the same character.

What are you getting into Delta? Any of the other Scouts, what's your big picture? Just Scout, Ranger, secondaries?

apparently I didnt press enter on the last post, it just deleting my typing. I didnt say much previusly, just that I now(per Delat) take full credit for my work. I didn't accept any help or advice, and I no longer need it.

Then I went into Delta's question about where am I going next. Basically my own hybrid profession of Spy. A mix of some things, smuggler, scout/ranger etc.

I'm currently doing the Scout/Ranger/Rifleman triad, which apparently is becoming popular. I had originally wanted to do Squad Leader, but the XP requirementsare just too high. I was leading Fambaa hunts every night with my TMB members (5-7 of us minimum) and it took me nearly two weeks to get the 125k needed for ONE BOX of Squad Leader XP. So until something is done to change the rate of speed or requirements of Squad Leader, I'm going to stick with those three. It's still something I'd like to do, but not right now.

Unfortunately, because of the requirments here, I'm going to have to drop all of my pistol and carbine XP, as well as entertainer and medic skills (and eventually squad leader), which is frustrating, but that shouldn't be for a while and I'll be better able to handle myself by that point anyway.

I myself have taken the path of Scout/Pistoleer/CH. That would be the full CH path, not just dabbling for Uber pets. I too would've liked to go a bit Squad Leader, but I am still undecided on that. (thanks for pushing me a little further from it Delta :smileywink
