Thread: Get Orat Part AKA my first harvest.....

- WARNING - THIS IS A FUNNY FOR SCOUTS, NOT SWG RELATED!

Ahhhh..... I remember my first experience harvesting from a creature..... I was playing "Space Quest 1" and I entered a cave with a BIG, BAD, RED MONSTER/CREATURE. I used my trapping skills to lob a container of dehydrated water into his mouth (yes, you read that correctly!). Upon contact with the acid in it's stomach, the container burst open, the water 'rehydrated' and blew the Orat up from the inside out! Hee hee hee! Then I noticed a slimy chunk of its hide on the ground..... I gleefully typed (remember those games where you actually had to TYPE!?) - I gleefully typed "Get Orat Part" and .... TA-DAAHHH! My first ever harvest was accomplished!
(I can't remember what I used it for later, though. I was definetly NOT to make a tent! LOL!!!!! )
The weirdest things pop into my mind as I run over the entirety of Naboo!

I'd be lying if I said I had no idea what you were talking about. 
I was a Sierra addict for a LONG LONG TIME.
I cut my teeth on Police Quest, on my trust old Apple IIGS.

My favorite was SQ3 with the Orat on a Stick that you had to use to get Ahnoid the Annihilator's invisibility belt. Space Quest had some of the best Star Wars parody moments ever in a game series for sure.
