Ive had a search around but my kepywords are too common to help me !

If I harvest meat from an animal can I then loot it ?

Which animals give loot ? and where is a good web resource for me to investigate what is worth getting.

Yes, if you harvest any resource from a creature you can still loot it. As for what creatures drop loot, here is a post from the ranger forums.

As for what is worth looting? I'm not really sure, as I havn't bothered chasing some of the creatures down yet. Your probably going to need to be pretty high level to solo most if not all of those, and some you probably shouldn't even attempt by yourself. Hope this helps

By the way, I have 3 macros that I created for this, and to speed up my harvesting so I have something vaguely akin to keeping up with demand. Each one consists of /harvest*resource*;/loot(where the *resource* is the resource I want).

I've accidentally picked up some interesting stuff using this. Admittedly, unless the group I'm with knows about it, it could be a ninja loot, but all of my friends know what I do, and I have no use for the loot anyway. They usually end up getting it.

Wargfang, yes you can loot and also harvet all animals. Best thing to do is setup harvest macros.

/harvest meat; /loot etc.

This way when you harvest, you automatically get anything lootable. There are few creatures with loot, and there was a thread going around that listed them. But using the macro above for all your harvesting is best way.
