I like this forum and its a slow day at work These are my predictions on things that I think will be changed in the game in the coming months. Now, I am not trying to upset anybody, I just think based on some of the hints the devs have dropped and the changes we have seen so far that these might be some changes we will be seeing in the future.

Combat:

1.Global player damage reduction - Judging from the creature balance changes, I expect player damage output to be lowered, just a guess, but I wouldn't be surprized to see a 20-30% reduction.

2. Hard speed caps by weapon type - This was actually posted along time ago, but this dev (sorry, forget his name) was talking about speed caps. Basically, a pistol could be 1 sec delay, carbine 3 sec delay, rifle 5 sec delay. This would let dev's design weapons that have better looking stats if not better DPS.

3. Delay system for specials - Basically this is the HAM regen changes for specials they tried out about a month ago on test. I personlly didn't see it, but what I can gather is that HAM damage done by specials regened at an advanced rate.My opinion, based on what I read is you do a special, but the HAM used from that special regens at an advanced rate. Now if you use another special before regaining all your HAM from the last special what ever that has not regened will be considered damage. Thus encouraging you not to spam specials. Now for this to have an impact over the ability to stim yourself, I would imagine that damage done by specials could not be healed.

4. Cert system for armor or redefining con system based on equiped armor- See the figures on what people were killing. The devs stated that people are killing stuff they should not be able to solo. My guess is there will be a cert system for armor. Currently, anybody can get a suit of 60-70% composite and become a killing machine.

5. Its all about the class, not the skills - SWG is a skill based game, but in the furture I expect skills to be rearanged similiar to CH tree, with the largest gains at the top of the tree, thus discouraging "Dabblers".

Ok, enough for today, time to go home and see how many of my BE pets are now invalid

Ic,

Those all look like legitimate predictions.

I hope some of them go through, too.
