Is there a way i can set up a all night macro for crafting traps, and how much xp do you get for crafting traps?

Dunno about the macro but it's easy as hell to get exp using them. Throw 4 or 5 on a mountain worrt and you get 1k+ exp.

No - you'll need to at least be there to click the ingredients into the crafting tool.

You don't get trapping XP for making traps. You get survival XP.

The only way to get trapping XP is to trap.

I've noticed your posts mentioning that you get survival xp for crafting camps and/or traps ... is this xp announced on screen or do you just get it without notification? I've crafted alot of camps/traps in the last few days (as I just grinded Trapping IV), and I never saw any notification of gaining survival xp for crafting. Is there some specific place / procedure to follow to get the survival xp for crafting camps/traps?

The system never tells you about any exp you get on a craft of any kind.

Like John said, you never will get a spam telling you how much XP you've gotten. But it's there.

Look at your XP total before you craft, and then check again. You'll notice it goes up.

The XP isn't amazing - never more than 100. But after a while, it gets up there.

Thanks for the replies guys ... I'm about to start my grind for the last half of Survival IV (have about 7000 xp to go) and I've been looking into ways you can gain survival xp without camps. Gonna try some fishing, but I have a feeling I'll end up camping while I run destroy missions. Again, thx for the info!
