Thread: 1 Trap Left, doesn't work 80% of the time

Well, it could depend on a number of factors, including the creature you're attacking, the type of trap, your distance, etc.
I don't know if there would be anything different in the game's code for the last trap, as opposed to the first trap of a set, so this could just be a freakish conincidence.
I'm assuming that the trap you've got left is probably a noise maker, though. Am I right?

I've noticed that when I have 1 trap left and I use it, most of the time there is no message and no effect no the creature.
I've started simply destroying traps when there is only 1 left since it doesn't work more than half of the time. Is it just me?
p.s. I didn't see this in the Bug post so I posted it myself.

I think what Omaro is refering to is that annoying little bug that for some reason prevents any spam concerning the traps result. I have see varying degrees of success on ALL traps when throwing my final charge.
Essentially the avatar winds up... throws the trap... it explodes... and there's no result. No spam for success or failure, no numbers to signify damage, no appearence of a new state near the HAM bar. Just a blank screen which looks as though the trap was never thrown.
I've seen it on everything from Red cons to blue cons. For some reason the last charge just gets wasted. It's especially frustrating on trap sets that only have two charges, like the Adhesive Mesh.

I concur with Wild. I have lived through this phenomenon many times. It is very frustrating to throw a trap and not know if it hit or not. If I don't see any info on a one count, I immediately throw another trap. I would say that this is an important issue for use Scouts/Rangers, but not a top five issue. I would rather have the prone sliding bug fixed before the trap issue.
