Thread: Traps, combat and weapon speed

I just want to confirm what I think I know is true. If I'm in combat with a MOB and I throw a trap, the time until my next attack--either another trap or a shot from my weapon--is dependent on the speed of the weapon I have equipped, right? That applies even if I'm spamming traps, and not even shooting, right?

In other words, if I'm holding my laser rifle, with a speed of 5.2, I can throw one trap every5.2 seconds. If I'm holding my FWG5 pistol, with a speed of 2.0, I can thow a trap every two seconds. Is that right?

Mad,

I'm not 100% sure, but don't think so.

I think that the trap speed is a set speed, based on your trapping skill, and isn't factored on your weapon.

This is a good question. I'll have to see if I can get an answer.
