Finally...after getting Scout 4/4/4/4 I wasted my AXP on Master Artisan thinking I could sell electronics components...boy was I wrong...should have stuck with Scout.

But amazingly over the past 4 weeks I've slowly accumulated AXP quite by accident.

So I was surprised this saturday when a player on Rori asked "Can anyone train me in Hunting I and Ranged Support I". I happily obliged, wished him luck and hopped on the shuttle back to Naboo.

About an hour later in Theed I thought, "what the heck lets see if I can camp the starport for AXP while doing a little crafting."

Lo and behold upon checking how much AXP I had, that last player had put me right on 640.

2 minutes later the Empire acquired another Master Scout.

Congratulations! Welcome to the Master Scout club.

After all the time we've chatted in game, it's about **edit** time that you finally made Master Scout. So you get a fun job. You get to cover my ass the next time I go Krayting. This includes cleaning up any soiled armor that may result.

So what's next? Still resource scouting?

I'm not totally sure where I want to go...I wanted Scout/Carbineer originally...but the state of Carbineer was frustrating due to the outrageous HAM costs so I switched to Pistoleer which is probably the best developed/mature of the three ranged weapon professions right now. I'm now at the same point I was in Carbineer with Pistols...and where I occasionally struggled with white cons like Kaadus, I'm soloing entire lairs without traps or my probot. That says something for the profession and how well it complements Scout with some combat skills.

Now...what next? I'm not terribly sure. I want a crafting profession for income so that any combat I get involved with is for fun/XP and not running missions for credits constantly. I got Master Artisan to experiment with the wide smattering of skills and schematics to get an idea of what I wanted to do. There's a huge need for better Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths on Bloodfin because too many master crafters don't stock their vendors sufficiently and don't reply to their e-mails requesting equipment (I've e-mailed 4 master Armorsmiths in the last week and a half asking for Chitin or Ubese armor...still recieved no reply).

I want a Scout character who is specializes in both crafting and fighting...a well-rounded character. Just not sure which crafting specialization to take up because the grind is a pointless, monotonous, B_TCH until you reach master. Unlike Pistoleer and Scout, you can't "play your way" to master (which I did) with a crafting profession because the equipment you sell at low-mid levels is pure garbage due to the lack of experimentation. I just gotta choose carefully before investing the time, effort, and credits for all those harvesters/resources.

For now I'm focussing on Pistoleer, my Guild (MASC), and looking for hunting or imp mission groups on Dantooine for cash.
