Let's say I have Scout, Novice Entertainer, Novice Medic.

I make a camp that will heal me if I sit there for the better part of forever, but I get XP.

If I also have Novice Medic skills and use those to heal me up, then do a little dance to recover BF and mental damage, does all that roll into my Survival XP, or do I have to sit in camp to get that XP?

My goal here is to make Squad Leader and I'm trying to get past the Survival XP requirement, I have no real interest in Entertainer or Medic, but if using them for a while can speed up the process, I'm all for it.

you pretty much get the camp's scout XP for doing everything in camp. the more you do, the faster it goes up. heal, entertain, forage, survey (although im not 100% sure about the last two, i do them anyhow).

one more thing though, you can NOT heal BF in camps. the only place you can is cantinas, theaters in cities. BF is something you need downtime to heal. you dont get downtime in camps because youre still in danger and not really relaxed.

is there some 'formula' for camp Xp? I'm asking because yesterday I had 1 camp where I healed myself and some guy that wandered in of damage and wounds and hung out and sampled and blah blah blah for like 10 minutes and got 320 xp.

Next time, i was grouped with a guy, we got beat on (I refused to heal during combat 'cause I wanted to pop a camp and get xp for that then (we weren't close to death or anything) and I healed up both up and we had 'minor' wounds that I blew a wound care kit on (working towards combat medic myself...or bounty hunter) and we stayed there for 15ish minutes and I got 120xp.

Did I do something wrong or is there just a randomness to it I haven't taken into accout? Same camp style (multi-person teir II) and did close to the same amount of healing and just sitting/harvesting/stuff but got different Xp results.

Best way to get camping exp is to get in a group of 6-10. At5 minutes, were youhave healed 10 WPs in ever stat, you will have maxed out in survival exp for that camp. Disband it and throw another down.

BTW rhyknow, you CAN heal BF in camps. Im a master scout and if it wasnt for an entertainer and medicthat traveled with me I would have had to stop in every city that I came to, to heal and recover. The scout, with the right people with him, can be self sufficiant without once setting foot in a city. Thats why they have camps. Its also in the manual and primas strategy guide if you dont believe me! Just my 2 cents!

how do you heal battle fatigue? I can't/haven't been able to. Is it related to higher level camp types?

From the Info ive gathered from these forums it sounds like you can only heal your own BF in a camp but , you can heal others BFin houses, besides your standard areas like cantinas, theaters, and such.

well every entertainer ive talked to said you cant heal BF in a camp. ive also taken on entertainer as an additional profesion, and ive sat in camp for an hour before playing and it didnt heal my bf.

what page is it on in the books? because i just looked again and didnt see anything on it other than "The primary purpose of an Entertainer is to heal Battle Fatigue damage. Playing or dancing can be done in the cantinas, so expect to spend a lot of time there." (pg 132 of Primas guide)

you can heal bf in a camp, it just takes longer, and i think it's an additional skill. i ran across an enteratiner who could do it.
