I heard you're supposed to get some kind of exp out of setting up a camp and being in it. How does this work exactly? Is there a time factor?

Yup. After you set up a camp, you'll have to sit in it for a while. After that, you tear down the camp and you get the experience for it. If you have multiple people in there at once, the experience you receive on tearing down the camp with increase to the max (600 or 620-can't remember) faster.

It's really easy, probably one of the easiest skill there is for a scout. Unless I'm wrong, which I would dought, set up your camp and sit in the chair. Then either make some traps, another camp, or have a soda and a smoke (I am not suggesting smoking, it's a bad habit), just do something that takes up about 20 minutes or so.

The next thing you will no, you will have earned 600 xp for sitting down. SWEET!!!!

You can get more than 600-ish survival xp from camps. I was in a group of about 10 people. I set up a multiperson camp, had several visitors, and when I disbanded it I received 800 xp.

The XP cap for single camps are 600 and for multi 800 or 820 I think..

Last night, I set up my first camp, and when I disbanded the camp I received 620 XP. I had the camp up for 20 minutes, and was alone for 13 minutes, and had 1 visitor stay for the next 7 minutes. I also had 1 person run through, so I had a total of 2 visitors. Hopefully, these numbers will help newbies like me gauge thier camp time better. Figure, that if you have more visitors, you won't need to keep the camp up as long.

The healing modifier was at .65 the whole time, is that a factor of the camp level or something else?
