Hi all...

I am a scout with only Explore and Hunt 4 (yes I am a CH)...

Was wondering if i bought traps from a master ranger or even higher lvl scout traps...can I use them?

No, you can only use traps and camps of the level you are at, or lower. If you buy a multiperson camp and only have survival 2, you will not be able to use it.

i can't answer the question about traps, but i know that at master scout i can use a novice ranger camp. also, lvl 3 scout can use an improved camp made by a lvl 4 scout.

Ok..I will have to get a few traps of differnt types from a master scout and try them.

I want to try camps too!

They should have Scout use on them like stims have med use..but I will soon see!

I believe you gain the use of the next higher class of traps/camps at the level right below it. That was on the Ranger board a few times. Example, a Ranger with Survival 3 can use, but can't craft, a High Tech Field Base.

Just don't go insane and buy all sorts of expensive stuff, but let us know.

And camo kits have to be applied by a Ranger. Don't buy em thinking you can use em, it just won't work.

I tried to give a friend some P-Dart and Adh. Mesh traps to use while we were hunting, thinking it would help him gain XP that much faster...he couldn't use them. I think he only had 1 level in Trapping...

I would really like to know the answer for this question. Perhaps it's because when you pick up Master Scout you get more camping skill?
