Thread: Stupid creature warping
I've already posted this in the Tech Support forums but don't really expect a reply. Maybe someone else is having the same problems. I'm really tired of creatures warping after having worn down their ham. This only refers to large creatures. For instance, tonight while hunting shallow tortons, it simply disappears when only 20m away from me while I'm in the process of attacking it. What's up with that. And this isn't an isolated incident. It happened with two tortons from the same lair, the first two I attacked. In another incident on Naboo, which I submitted a bug report for, it happened while I was attacking fambaas. Is there some sort of distance limit that states you can only kite a creature so far away from their lair? If so I've never heard of it. I will not spend the rest of my time in game hunting squall & Ikopi.

I don't seem to remember that in the movies
Yep your not the only one, this happened to me an entire Humbaba lair upped and vanished. The Humbaba's one by one as they were about to die and then the lair went pop.
There is a distance to which a creature will vanish and respawn back at it's lair (with full health) but I am not sure what it is. I sent some something running with a Warning Shot and never saw it again...Yet a new one magically spawned when it shouldn't have.
I just ignore it and keep killing them. ![]()
Guys,
This is another across the professions issue, and I can tell you that the Devs know about it and they're working on it.
