It depends on the camp. I'm not sure of the exact numbers but I believe that it is either the 1 xp point per total number of resources needed to craft the item, or half that.

Anyone have hard numbers on this?

In practice mode, for a basic camp kit, i macro'd basic camp kits for 12 xp each. For Multi-person camp kits in practice mode, I macro'd these for 58 xp each. Hope this helps.
