I posted about the Player-Driven Economy on the main forums about an hour ago and just thought to drop the link here for the Scouts to see because it contains suggestions that directly affect them:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=Development&message.id=764708
Before anyone jumps on me about the non-combatantant comment remember that Scout, by itself, is not a combat profession. The skills involved are not military-specific.
If you wanna comment please do so here to keep the scout-specific discussion on this forum.

Did you mean money making?
You may not get many responses by telling Scouts they can make themselves monkeys ![]()

Try the scout/artisan combo. You wanna talk about a lack of monkey-making ability. Artisan products are so de-valued by lowballing grinders using garbage materials on the bazaar it isn't funny. I spend more money on harvestors than I get in return from sales even on high-quality, experimented items using good materials (I got CDEFs that have 65 max damage -- normal unexperimented is 38 -- with a powerup I can get a CDEF to 77 or better) because of the lowballing that goes on.
Its a similar problem scouts face. You get 1000 units of 850 malleability 900 OQ hide or bone and can't sell it for more than 3 cr/u on the bazaar because there's always some jerkweed selling for 2cr/u or less.

i have had good luck posting the superior stats in the comment windows. My stuff sells VERY quickly in Mos Espa bazaars on Bria. Oddly, it is a very busy town!
