For a few weeks I stopped selling animal resources to focus on my Artisan Skills (I had aspirations of becoming a Weaponsmith...but decided to stick with Artisan, Scout and Pistoleer and becoming more of a Hunting-Crafter for self-sufficiency). Recently I'm back on the resources market and have discovered some sources of credits that practically grew on trees. Keep in mind I've been ignoring my combat skills, just dumped carbineer for Pistoleer, and I don't play "Pet-Wars" and tank with a pet (I do have a Probot but that is used for diversionary tactics on MOBs that BAF and is within what I feel is the spirit of Star Wars - role-play is more important to me than an ub3r l33t character). The following advice is mainly targetted at players like me or the new/inexperienced.

Destroy Missions

Now I know you're thinking "We already run destroy missions you f'ing newb". But what planet do you run them on? Tatooine? Naboo? Talus? If you are a solo scout who's had bad grouping experiences or just anti-social and like being alone you find yourself longing for the day your combat skills can get you thru a Huurton mission solo on Dantoine. If Level 18 missions still alude you, or you are a new/inexperienced player I'd suggest visiting Rori!

Why Rori?

1) Rori has shorter runs to missions, nearly half that as Naboo, Talus, Corellia and Tattoine. The destroy missions that I've run recently on Corellia, Tattoine and Naboo are a 2km hike for less than 1500 credits for level 15 missions or less (anything higher than level 15 right now is an iffy success for me) with Naboo's missions being the longest runs of all of them for some reason. Rori's are mostly under 1000meters! This means you can do twice as many missions in the same amount of time.

2) Rori has some big-XP paying critters. Nudfah's are my current favorite critters to get in destroy missions because they pay ~1500 credits and give out 200-400 pisol XP per nudfah/pudgy nudfah I kill.

3) Rori has an abundance of "easy" critters to kill and in my experience is the 2nd best starting planet for a newbie. Naboo being the best due to the ease of its missions, abundance of wildlife, and comparatively higher PC population.

Rori does have one drawback: its lack of PCs.

When your Battle Fatigue gets up too high you will have to hop a shuttle to Theed on Naboo (Naboo is the closest, cheapest shuttle ticket since Rori is a moon of Naboo) to find an entertainer. I'd recommend a cantina-run when your BF gets above 100, but you can go higher if you don't mind the extra time you have to spend healing in camps.

Because of the low PC population, Rori doesn't have many vendors, so you may have to visit Naboo if you need to upgrade or replace your gear -- make it coincide with a Cantina run.

Searching Lairs

My Bio-Engy friend turned me onto an incredible money making potential: EGGS!

Did you know that some BEs will pay up to or more than 50cr/egg!

And Eggs are right under your nose and some of you probably never realized it.

When you take a destroy mission to exterminate some critters, search the lair BEFORE destroying it. About every other time you search it you will get between 2 and 7 eggs. Also as you are running to objectives, watch your radar for lairs and nests (they appear as yellow squares) and take side trips to search them. Withing a few hours you'll have 100 eggs that you can sell for 10, 20 or even 50 credits each for what amounts to two extra mouse clicks on each destroy mission you take. I was offered 2000cr for 18 eggs this weekend, unfortunately they weren't the right type the BE wanted; which leads me to my next point.

One caveat to eggs, you want to get as many as you can from the same planet and sell them on that planet. Some schematics call for hundreds of eggs and they all must be the same type. Selling Rori eggs on Naboo or Tattoinian eggs on Corellia will prove difficult.

Oh yeah, when you get Live Samples of (some critter) just destroy them or use them as decorations in your house because they are worthless(they look like jars of internal organs or fetuses in formaldehyde when you drop them so you're house could have a crazy "mad scientist" look to it). The only schematic that uses them is the creature habitat and no one makes them. I made a few just to see what they do and like fireworks, they're kinda neat, but even more worthless. You just can't sell these things.

So lastly, if you're having money troubles as a scout, try hunting on Rori for shorter missions with higher XP and check those nests for eggs. Its two more ways of adding some income to your bank account without much additional effort.
