Hi fellow scouts!

I am currently a 4-0-4-0 Scout and Master BE and using my Mask Scent vry often when sampling DNA. Now my question is, is it worth he skill points to master scout just for a *maybe* better mask scent? I might add I am wearing +19 (or was it +17...??cant remember lol)mask scentclothing.

On a side note....does anyone of you have a good tactic to get in sampling rang (15m) of Mutant Rancors? I keep ripping my hair out when I am sampling these, caue my Mask Scent breaks like 9/10 times...its really frustrating lol...would Master Scout change that, even a bit would help lol...?

What is your percentage skill on maskscent? If it is over 100, no, stay as you are. If it is over 125, really do not change, as you maxed at 125. I have not seen any particular bennies after 100 btw, it breaks just as frequently.

Maskscent is odd. Kreetles and rasps break it all the time. Rancors never seem to break mine. Go figure. Torturs can't smell me, stupid mites always do.

And some problems are server specific, so check with scouts on your server.

Instead of doing the points. Make a set of +25 mask scent clothes of sometype since your a BE. Then get a chef to make you BE Jawa Beer you supply the light additives to keep costs down. The jawa beer will give you a +16-17 for 13-15 minu. between the two your in the low 40's for mask scent boost over your explore 4 mask scent rating.

I would also make sure that you're crawling up to them. There are modifiers added for movement - the slower you go, the less likely you'll get a breakage.

At Explore 4 your crawl speed shouldnt be so bad anyway.
