I wa splaying on Saturday when I qualified for Explorer IV and Hunting IV. I found a player to train me in both. He completed the training for Explorer Iv and at that time he indicated that I did not have enough XP for Hunter IV. I checked and the 15000 points I had had been reduced to 322. Is this normal or have I been the victem of yet another "bug"??

Thank you. I noticed that both of these trees advanced at the exact same rate. I should have known there was a catch.

Both Exploration and Hunting take the same type of xp, Scouting xp. So when you got one of the 2 skills taught your xp was reduced, so you didn't have enough for the other one.

Even your esteemed corrsepondent made this mistake when he started. I even sent in a bug report on it.

Then again, this was on June 29, so no one knew nuttin'.

Yup. Exact same thing happened to me me twice while leveling up scout. Nice to see it just wasn't me. Now I don't feel as bad.

Ok so a BH killed me last night I had no buffs But I lost 30kxp for the BH kill then when I did regain concisous I lost another 50k?

Why are we being penalized twice?

You're not. You are being punished 80k. Basically the Bounty Hunters would whine too much if you could stand up after being killed and not lose XP. Of course 90% of the forum junkies don't know you pay xp on a db from a missioned bh. Ah well.

PVE you lose xp on clone.
PVP you lose xp on clone.
Bounty Hunter you lose xp at death (30k) then the balance when you clone.

My favorite is the auto-clone I did last night as I was laying at the foot of a doctor that was set to res me. woo. -200k. There went 10 hours of work. I'm wondering if it had to do with being a jedi that still had some "free" deaths, (the newbie deaths.)
