Thread: Artisan Skills?
Artisan crafting ability has nothing to do with Trap crafting. except that you get general crafting eeps for building traps.
When I first noticed that I could experiment on traps around trapping 2 or 3, I had one experimentation point. At trapping 4, I still have just one.
I noticed that I had somehow picked up surveying eeps (foraging i think) and picked up Artisan to make better use of my play style. I have Engineering 3 now, but still just 1 experimentation point in regards to traps.
The same holds true for medical crafting, and weaponsmith crafting... each separate class has its own experimentation skills, and there isn't a way sofar to combine any of them into an uber experimentor
As has been stated, artisan skills won't help your ability to make traps and camps.
However, it will give you the ability to survey for the metal and polymer that you'll need for the upper level camps and traps that you will need later on. If you are low on cash or don't want to buy your resources, this is a good way to get those materials.
It also helps with you camping XP as you can craft/survey at the same time.

Thank the makers we dont have to do any of those.
I still think we should drop unarmed 4 for something eles. But thats MO, then agian ... who eles is it?
