I just earned my Master Scout Badge! 
Exactly four months to the day I started playing.
Many thanks to Brisc and his guide and eveyone on the forum for answering my questions before I even knew to ask them.
Geez, the top of the Ranger tree sure looks a long way off, better get started!

Welcome to Master Scout. And yes the top of the Ranger is far off. You can get to 3/4 of it quick if you want to do it in a rush easily enough. But you can also just take your time with it. And enjoy the leveling of it over some time.

Congratulations! Welcome to the Master Scout club.
What an interesting forum name. Interesting enough that it helped me come up with your hazing...er...intiation task. You know, we haven't had a good fish fry in a long time. A long, long time. So let's do one. By my estimates, we've got say....150 or so members of the club...I would think we could all eat about three fish. That means YOU get to catch us 450 fish. Try and get it done soon, cause I'm getting hungry.
Have fun climbing the Ranger tree - just make sure you've got a good weapon and a lot of patience.

Congradulations! But where is your sock monkey, how can you expect to be a MASTER SCOUT without a SOCK MONKEY?!?!

well...i tried really hard to make one, but the hide that i need for it hasn't spawned in my galaxy.

That's no excuse! A Scout without a sock monkey is like a hitchhiker without a towel!
Don't mind me though, I'm mostly harmless. Ford Perfect even said so!

Well, see, I had to empty my pack out - do you have any idea how much space 450 fish take up ?!?

Good old Peril Sensitive Sun Glasses Hakai. Now you might want to use an artificial injury to help you out in that situation as well.
