I'm a master scout, with a set of clothes that gives +27 mask scent. I've heard the cap for any skill is +125? Does that mean that Jawa beer would do me no good? I only ask cuz my mask scent has been work craptastic (poorly) the last few days and i seek to improve it.

Minus racial modifiers, +125 is the max. If you have racial modifiers, it can go higher.

I'd like ot say maskscent gets better as you progress, and it does, but realize that kreetles and rasps break it with amazing regularity.

I play tag with rancors with no problem. Stupid kreetles.

BTW for the record no matter how high its listed in the clothing in reality its +25. Not that +2 makes a difference. Just an FYI

The FS skill line should allow the cap to go to +130.

Jawa beer will add on top of this. Temporary buffs are not counted towards the cap.

on this issue (i prob should ask this in the be or tailor forum) ... is that a max of +25 per item? ( with only one item countingand the others not making a difference)... or could i have a few +25 items to reach my total of +125? ...

You can use a few items to reach the +25 cap. (For many types of bonuses you have to, in fact.)

ok but still the cap is +25 total for the clothing right ... reason i ask is i had someone hand my char an outfit .. (pants, shirt, jacket and bandoleer) that all have +16 on it to camo and mask scent ... all of those together tho they show over +60 actually only grant +25 ... do i have that right? lol heh .. trying to figure out how to sneak up on critters more ... tho i have gotten good at scaring rancor's before they can smell me now ...

It will show +60 but its really only +25 for the total on clothing. Just add a jawa beer on top of it to really help out.

So lets see brandy, muon, jawa beer and im a better riflemen?
