Hi guys,

I have decided to come back to Scouting. The only problem is that i am finding my traps are not working to well. Have the days of hitting rancors with them gone?

I am only now level 2 trapping, but even these are not working on Sharnaff. Do i have to start with low level creatures now? or does it have something to do with the quality of the traps made ?

I am on now, so would very much appreciate some quick responces on these. 15.26 GMT

with some traps, you can only land 1 per creature, and once you get level 3, mountain dewbacks worked for me. Just fire glow juice traps at them over and over and over...

rancors are too hard for a level 2, I think sharnaffs are too... I think you can only do level 15 creatures and below at trapping 2, level 20 at 3, and 25 at 4.

In this vein -

glow juice, wire mesh and stink bombs can be thrown one after another and all have a decent chance of sticking on the same creature.

Example - Throw 25 wire mesh at a paralope, get 25x XP (low, but xp is xp and paralopes can't hurt).

If you were to go to a certain POI on a certain planet with a certain building that has a balcony, the certain animals there give decent XP if all you do is toss traps.

Now go find it.

I just leveled trapping 3 and 4 in 45 minutes on a plains cat lair outside of Moenia.

Just do what the guide says!
