Thread: Newbie Scout Vest (AKA Cargo Vest) is now craftable by Tailors!

As of Patch 11, Tailors can craft the infamous "Scout Vest", now called a "Cargo Vest" (in there first Field box if anyone is interested). Everyone who started there character got a grey version of this vest, but they where not craftable. They sometimes were loot drops, but the only other colors ran a few shades of brown. Other than that there was no way to get them.

Ok, I know this was probably never a huge priority for most. Even I wouldn't put it as truly important, but it always annoyed me that so utilitarian and "outdoorsy" a vest was only available from Newbies or, on the very rear occasion, as a loot drop. Neither one of these had sockets and the colors were very limited. Now you can have sockets or even bio-enhancements, in addition to choosing colors that will complement the look you want (whether camouflage or intentionally eye-catching).

Like I said, it is a nice little change but not very important.

Bright yellow?:eyeroll:

Anyway that's a good idea for a costume...

Neon orange hunting vests at the next GRM?

Chefs can already do the Jawa beer, I just need SOE to include the mesh trucker cap now in the Tailor revamp, and I'll get that Good Ole Boy hunting look down...

My guild has a 'King of the Hill (the cartoon)' theme going on right now, but I think you have us beaten!

Maybe we could help the Smugglers write up a case for including some dip as a low level spice too... and a spitoon for the artisans to make ... docs could do Nicorette patches for the recovering former Rangers....

the "winged" version of the garment that shall not be named here was also made craftable. That might be seen as a blow to Rangers every where, but it takes 400 hides to make one! I always knew Greenmarine had a soft spot for us.

Ah I am wearing one now! Funny thing is I bought the looted version the night before the patch, I was so happy to find out now I can get it in any color! Yay.
