i'm not in JTL beta and i don't know if answering this question would break the NDA... but i want to ask:
is there any shipwright dependency on scout harvested materials at all?
i'm wondering because if there isn't, then someone who just wants to fly around in his starship shooting stuff can do so without any concern for the "ground" game. currently, someone who shoots stuff on the ground would care about scouts because those things are needed for buffs, armor and food.

I won't give you a direct answer, but think about it - what part of a ship would be organic? ![]()

Hmm....decorative dash board covers?... shifter knobs?....steering wheel covers? (yes i want a steering wheel in my low rider... errherm... I mean spaceship)....Ok, I got it, the fuzz for my fuzzy dice!!!

Gotta get fuel SOMEWHERE...Although...we could do as Penny Arcade says and kill Bothans untill the problem is solved.

Hakai -- you have hit upon the SWG achille's heel. At some point in the game, all toons will explode from never having gone potty. No refreshers anyplace are there?
And I want leather seats, tuck and roll upholstery, a Boyd Coddington chrome package and a Jesse James paint scheme on my space ship.

Questions, sure -
Why do Bothans all have a Napoleonic complex, when in fact, Napoleon hasn't been born yet. So did Napoleon have a Bothan complex?
How come when I do the emote sneeze, I hear it, and you don't?
That unknown salute is not unknown, tho it is a type of salute. Why don't they just call it "up yours"?
(and I know the appropriate Italian words to go with that salute also)
The way I understand it, if we eject, a "personal force field" protects us ( got this from the X wing series). I can see wearing a flight suit, and the non covering Rebel helmet is explained away by the force field and the fact the cockpits are pressurized. But the TIES are not pressurized, and the pilots had to wear a full helmet and suit. How come we don't?
I gots lots of questions.
