Thread: Our Combat Upgrade Testers... (If you're one of 'em, read...new info!)

Hey gang,
Just wanted to let you know that I've picked the following folks to help us test the changes in the Combat Upgrade.
Four of them are members of the Scouting community that most of you know and love, and one of them is a friend from Bloodfin who has experience testing and knows PvP (and there are too few of us hardcore PvPers left). I originally had 5 Scout members, but one of the folks on my list dropped out late.
I chose folks based on how long they've been a part of the community, and how active they are here.

JBMat
Hakai
Sojourner
MiryiaSterling (Bloodfin)
Don't ask me any more specific questions regarding when the Upgrade's coming, when the testing starts, etc, because I honestly don't know. We're all going to work hard to make sure that the Upgrade lives up to the expectations of the community - both the Devs and those of us helping 'em out.
EDIT: IF YOU'RE ON THE LIST, MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT THE THREAD ABOUT THE COMBAT UPGRADE AND REGISTER FOR THE BETA AND SIGN THE NDA. THEN YOU'LL HAVE ACCESS TO THE BETA FORUMS.

so exactly what are we combat testing? lol
Do we just keep our favorite combat profession and throw a couple of traps every now and then? *grin*

Good selections from what I can tell. Except for JBMat. He's such a l33t whore that he gets nothing less that 90% armor, 2600+ buffs and brandy, spice and tons of ub3r leetness. Sheesh. What could a guy like him add to combat?

I will admit, I bought some armor today. Or rather, I had a guildie buy it, and I am storing it for Phase 4 of the Village. Yes, I use armor and even buff for the village missions... well I did once, and prolly will for the phase 4 debacle.
The rest I will categorically deny.
Btw, I built a Y wing today....wooohooo. Found me some neat stuff to stick on it. JTL is a hoot. Too bad you are a Red Sox fan and are probably in jail for drunk and disorderly, we could fly formations.
And rumor has it I am even from the South, but it's Southern New England. Any further South and you are treading water.

By the way Delta, there are going to be sock monkeys in the sandbox, right?

Right now - we have no idea.
They're in the process of getting everything ready, so you'll get more info once everything is set up.

I'm in the sandbox through the marksman correspondent (/wave DiLune), but I will of course be picking up scout skills and testing them as part of my marksman focus.
So Brisc has, as does Vertexon, a stealth team member.
