Thread: Factory Cases
Scout supplies?
Get a Weapons, Droids and General Crafting tool to make the factory schematic {the instructions for production, which will be mostly what =specific= resources to use. If you later change your type of bone or hide or anything you will have to produce a new schematic}. Then buy an Equipment Factory or arrange to use someones. Traps and camps will show up in the factory hopper with 25 per crate. The last crate will have as many as there are resources left for production.
Unfeter,
You can't put things into a factory crate right now. Just take them out. So you've got produce them that way.
It's a pain.

Yes it's a pain, but it =really= saves on pack space.
If you're on Kettemoor, get in touch with me for custom orders.

For just about everything. Camps. Traps. Stim-Bs. Weapons repair kits. Bofa treats. Muon gold.
Then there are advanced meds that REQUIRE components out of factory crates. I'm sure other crafting professions have some advanced items that have such requirements.
The other major advantage is you don't have to spend your life crafting. You fashion a schematic, you dump the incredients in the factory, and you go off hunting, while the factory churns out whatever it is you've decided to make.
You come back, and you've got 250 camps conveniently packed in 10 containers. You take some of these containers and dump them in the PA hall for the guildies to use, you take some of them and sell them on the bazaar, and soon you've made up the cost of the factory, the maintenance, and the energy to power it with money left over to handsomely tip a dancer or musician.
Very interesting, thanks for the replies.
To let you know.. im still a noobie, only been on a month though i have already obtained master scout and almost master marksman and i need to broaden my horizons more.
Where do I find these schematics? And where could I purchase a factory?
To get the schematic, you need to use one of the advanced crafting tools and be near a crafting station during the crafting session. You'll get the option to create a schematic, along with experimentation or create a prototype once you've got the item assembled. The thing is, to use the schematic in a factory, you'll need to have the exact resources used to make the schematic in sufficient bulk to make it worth while.
The factories themselves are crafted by architects, and require one of your deed slots, maintenance money, and energy to use. You'll need to find a place to site the factory; most people put them in the back yards of their homes.
