"Heeee's the master of the house, leader of the pack, amatuer philsopher and jolly old chap!"
Quick, what musical is that from? I'll give you a hint, despite the lyrics it doesn't take place in England.
[Edited to capitalize "England", I don't want to offend anglo-scouts after all....]

Sojourner,
Quoting a French play might be more offensive to our Anglo-scouts than not capitalizing England.

You probably don't know about my famous (or is it infamous) love of irony. Besides, Ifairly certianLes Miserables didn't originate in France, at least the play. It's subject matter is most certianly life duringthe French Revolution, but I think it was the play was written and originally preformedin USA. But then again, I'm not an expert on theatrical history....
[Edited to replace "America" with USA, to avoid any and all Canadian, Mexician, Central American, orSouth American Scouts!

First of all,
/cheer Delta
secondly, the book Les Miserables was written in France by Victor Hugo, the play however, was a collaberation between American and British talents
