see...wilderness XP is like Marriage XP...there is justNO fast way to get it.

And to people who aren't commited to it, it is a grueling and mind numbing journey.

It isn't that hard. Make a macro that is set up a camp, wait 15 minutes, shoot at a target, wait 1.5 minutes, remake. Rinse and repeat.

ok, im gonna grind wilderness xp... i dont wanna do a stupid macro cus its a waste 50 minutes for 1 camp.. bleh

im doing the one where u manually set up a camp, give urself 7 visits, etc etc...

im wondering if im doing this right, somone told me this:

-Setup a camp

-Run In and out of it so you get 7 visits on the camp status thing

-wait 8 minutes, click little sign, go to radial menu, disband

-repeat

am i doing this right? im gettin like 225xp per ... only at survival 1...

Craft camps while sitting in the camp. Even better, tumble a few times first, then pop camp and craft. You will get extra xp for crafting and healing. The running in and out trick may work, but add the crafting and healing.

Cmurray,

Depends on what's going on.If you've got a bunch of folks, 5 minutes. Alone, 10-12. 8 is about average.

I forage while in the camp. Allows for more points healed to boost wilderness xp. Crafting traps or camps works well too. I think a basic camp kit gives about 30 xp I think Lecapine darts give between 10-15. I can't remember for sure.

a general rule of thumb is that any item produces double the xp as resources it consumes.

If a camp requires 10 bone and 5 hide (i don't know the scematics offhand), that is 15 resources and will give 30 xp. If you do it in practice mode, it will give 5% more xp. In this case, yeilding 36 xp.

This applies for every single profession and almost every single item craftable (some items either give no or very little xp - like basicmusical intruments, for example).

Make a macro where you shoot at an enemy every 15 minutes and wait 3 minutes before setting up another camp. This is the only way you canget rid of a camp without waiting 50 minutes.You won't need to be around to get easy camping xp.

To answer that question in general, I got about 500-600 xp every 16-17 minutes per multi-person camp. I got 350 (max) xp per simple camp for about 12-14 minutes or so. I never figured out how this worked.

If you don't want to macro it, then just craft in practice mode for survival xp while in your camp and reset one every 15 minutes or so.
