I've been on Naboo now for a while and I've been thinking of checking out some other planets. Tenebrous is Brawler (3/3/3/4) Scout (4/4/4/3) Medic (1/1/0/2). I plan on hitting Ranger soon. Any suggestions on other planets to check out and creatures there to hunt?

I personally like Endor and Talus.

A lot of people seem to like Dathomir, though I don't particularly like it. Yeh the stuff there is good XP, but to me it's about more than the XP.

But my favorite planet is probably Endor. Forested all over, uninhabited, mysterious(and often deadly) animals... a Ranger's paradise. Oh, and we can't forget the Ewoks!

Talus is underpopulated with a ton of stuff to hunt, at least on my server.

Dantooine is an XP gold mine, more groups there than you can shake a stick at.

As for Endor, Dathomir and Lok, all of em - good xp, lousy with red aggros, and I haven't made any friends on Endor yet.

I live on Talus, probably one of the better "Ranger" planets, in that there are not many DBing critters, yet there are a lot that give decently high XP.

As others have said, Talus is a great place for any Scout/Ranger. It has some interesting POI's, like the desertedvillage of Durbin (high level creatures likegreater sludge panthers abound here), The Kahammura (SP?)Biotech ResearchCenter (Abandoned because their efforts to turn Kahammuras into hunting beasts worked too well),andtwo cave systems (one with giant Vynocks and the other with lots ofdangerous Decay Mites). It also happens to be my favorite planet.

I would say Talus, but since I live there, I've gotten way to use to killing stuff out there. Especially JB's rasps. I poisoned the heck out of a gang of the earlier.

When I was leveling Scout, I used to pop over to Rori - I had a lot of fun out there. Killing tortons is amusing. It's dark there...kinda like the Dark Side version of Naboo, which appealed to the Imp in me.

So I tried Lok, and died a few times. I don't think it's the planet for me. I'm thinking about visiting Talus or Endor next.

I agree Hakai, it has many other things going for it as well, but it's scenery is great.It's nice balance between familiar and alien, and evenwith player structures and citiesit still fells rugged and a bit wild. It's just my opinion, but if you are going to hunt and do missions for a couple of hours it helps to be in an environment that you like.

I think I may wait for the next resource change on Naboo before I go. Right now the wild meat is pretty good. And I'm getting good money for the herbivore meat. I've got a stack of about 3k Nabooian milk I'm adding to as well. The only drawback is that I can hardly find a ranger when I need training. I've had to go to the Ranger trainer in Lake Dread for about half my skills.

So I took a look at Endor. There's some easy scout xp there to be had, butthere were only like 3 or 4 players there total. Maybe I should have tried the smugglers' outpost. I did go to a few POI's and cuddle with the ewoks. Then I met a few ewok-looking uncuddly little critters. Drove through their village on my swoop to get my POI badge and promptly left with all the little critters really upset.

I swung by Corellia, stayed long enough to get a cool powerhammer, and headed to Talus. I liked hunting torturs and humbabas, big game is more satisfing. I'm finding that I'm dispatching everything with great ease. I've gotten up to swordsman 0/0/1/0. I think I might try finding some of those cave systems or checking out the POI's.
