Im droping CH so ill also be droping my scouting skills. I really hope they revamp you guys soon. Ill list the reason here.
1. You guys dont cry like babies about few minor problems in your profesion. You guys take the high road which is really cool.
2. This milk thing is not cool it takes way to long to milk animals I tried it out. You guys should get more units of milk or shouldnt take as long as it doesto tame a pet.
3. The way pets and rides are comming out with out camps hurts your profesion. They really need to rethink camps big time to give scouts a bigger roll.
Ideas
1. Talk to devs about camps giving regen to wounds make it slow but happen.
2. You guys should get a +to hit with traps , and a little more option in your traps.
3. make rare forage foods that are worth a lot kinda like walking throw the woods winning the lotto deal.'
Well any way hope you guys get patched up a bit.

Thank you for the suggestions. Of all the professions, I would say we are the best off in terms of functioning properly. Not that there isn't room for improvement.
1a) Probably because minor problems are all we have. When we have a major one, we can be vocal, too. (See maskscent changes.)
2a) If you become a scout again, look for higher CL critters. They give larger quantities. The devs also want the amounts to be less than static harvesters can pull. (Why? I don't know.)
3a) Losing camps is not hurting Scout at all. People are placing worth on a worthless system. That is why they need to re-think how camps function, however. I want pulling out my camp to mean something.
1b) Camps already slowly regenerate wounds. Five to all stats every five minutes.
2b) Trapping uses a different to-hit system. They always hit, the creature might simply resist. As our skill raises, they do have an increased chance of landing.
Variety would be nice, but they already do most state effects. Any new traps are likely going to be the domain of Rangers.
3b) More interesting or useful forages would be nice. I only use them to feed my pets currently.
