how often does this happen? I'm slowly learning the resources both organic and inorgainicnever stay the same for long it seems. The bantha season seems to be over. I managed to save about 500 of those eleopihides when I finally figured out they weredrying up. I must must have sold about 4-5kunderpriced not really knowing they would dry up and how much they were actually worth. I think its cool though keeps everyone on there toes. Is there any wayto predict when resources willshift? And are the shifts mostly random or predictable qualities?

I will attempt to do so.

Resources shift at random intervals, sometimes as long as 2 weeks, sometimes as little as hours (literally). Usually you know organic resources have shifted by the "skinny / diseased" message. Means that an hour ago you were getting 50 units off a critter, now they are skinny or sick and you are getting 1-5 units. And the stats have all gone south for the winter. You never know when this will happen, so get the good stuff when you can. High numbers are good, low numbers are bad.

Non organics shift randomly also. Not being an artisan type, but owning harvestors, I can tell you it's not much different from from organics.

I have seen resources go from every number above 900, to no number above 200 in two hours. It was a fluke, but it happened.

The shifts are unpredictable. Sometimes resources totally disappear from galaxies for weeks at a time.

Good luck, and when the stuff is good, harvest and hoard.

I have some more good news some times the shift makes the resource bad everywhere.I spent a couple of hours yesterday looking for the good leathery hide spawn for an armorsmith I work for.I went to every planet harvesting a sample for comparison. It was not a good sight. The best I could find was in the 500-600 range for stats. That is something to keep in mind. If the good stuff goes away in one place it may or may not have moved to another place.Sometimes it just goes away for a little vacation and takes your wallet with it.It's a lot like real life. When it's good it's really good, and when it's bad it's really bad.
