Does anyone know the exact max time a camp can stay up before it is disbanded?

I believe you can keep it up as long as you wish -- someone correct me if I'm wrong -- it's just that at a certain point you will max out the experience you get.

I beleive they auto-disband after an hour.

Yes they disband over time. Right now for mea 15 minute camp with 20 visits provides 380 survival xp.

Something kind of wacky is going on with my camps lately. They are not working as per specs at all. They disband on me randomly, heal at much slower rates, and I think (I just don't know how else it could've happened) that my first improved camp actually incapacitated me when I fired on an evil settler (I sure as hell know he didn't incap me! My stats were still full and I just fell over incapacitated).

Odd things, I've been bugging away for a while now.

51 minutes (give or take a few seconds) as long as it's not abandoned due to no one being in there for a few minutes.

Dirty little secret, you can make5 times the exp in the given time periodtiming when it maxes and actively changing the camp ... until about Frontering 2 that is, then is is only 3 times . AND you can now "grind" the traps and camps to get additional exp while in the camp.

Now me, I'm not into that kind of thing . Not that there is anything wrong with that.

=/ I admit it that I ground out survival 4. =/ I was maxed out on scout AND trapping XP, and I already had all my AP. It seemed to take forever...

No shame in grinding a boring and useless chain of skills.

I only currently use camps to respawn my vehicles when the /bug decides to drive my bike 500m away from me when I dismount. Once camps are no longer required to pull vehicles I don't see myself using them.

I don't need them to heal wounds. I can't heal BF in them. They don't repel critters. They do look kinda neat at the upper levels, but so does armor, and it also manages to serve a purpose...

I get home just around the server reset each morning so I intend to be grinding camps macro-style 23 hours a day until I'm done camping for awhile. Just as soon as I stop being lazy and make all those camp kits.

Its as long as there is someone active in it I think.
