Thread: Hey Delta...???
In the examine window, one of the things at the top is the resists. Below that the vulnerabilities, if any. Then below that it shows a section called Effectivness: and might list some similar numbers as the resists, in percentages. I want to know that that means? Does it meas for example, if it has Effectivness 30% acid, that acid damage is 30% MORE effective against the creature? Resists, we know, vulv. we know, pretty self explanetory. But I have to hear what the effectivness ratings actually mean in game terms, in terms that my character cares about.
Make more sence?
Squid,
I guess your "sith effectiveness" thing kinda threw me off.
What I believe we have determined this to mean is this:
Vulnerabilities: Creature is vulnerable to this.
Effectiveness: Creature damage is particularly effectiveagainst this.
For example, if a critter has a 40% effectiveness to "kinetic", that would mean that a character with 40% Kinetic resist armor would have that armor value negated. It would mean that they were particuarly effective at dishing out this kind of damage.
Does that make sense?
B
Yes it does, and that was my thinking on it way back when. So basically effectivness on mobs, is bad for us. Makes sence.
Sorry about the sith thing, I tend to RP a bit and try to use SW words in place of normal ones. Like instead of what the f*** I what the sith. Or instead of holly cr** I say holly hyperdrive. ![]()
