Is there any quick way out there to grind through trapping and survival xp? Help is appreciated.

applauds Hakai for not saying -

I must ask, why is trapping so hard? I maxxed traps first, both Scout and Ranger. I trapped everything, literally. Trap, trap, trap, harvest, make more traps, trap and harvest some more. Not real exciting, but trap bigger creatures, it goes fast.
Camping was tedious, but now that crafting camps while camping gives xp - come one, that cuts the time I spent by 50%.
Maybe the key was - "with friends". They shot, I trapped, I harvested, I popped a camp, they did stuff. Big xp for all concerned (huurton stalkers were the prey of choice).
