Thread: Master scouts- Lend me your ears...er eyes

I need some advice-
I'm currently on my way to becoming a master scout, however there are a few things I am curious about on how to speed up the process. First regarding trapping- I've got 2 in trapping, and want to know what creatures give the highest xp per trap at that level? What planet can I find those creatures? Second- Survival xp is really slow going. What's the fastest method in gaining Wilderness Survival xp?
Anyway, thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Aria,
Generally, Bols on Naboo, and Pikets on Dant give pretty good trapping XP. Those are good places to start. The best way is not to find critters that give great XP, but to find critters that spawn a lot from their lairs.
As for the survival, read my guide at the top of the forum for hints and tips to speed up the process.

I finished my trapping xp last night on dantooine hunting voritor dashers. I stuck my graul on them then hit them with a bleed then hit them with wire mesh traps for about 350 xp per trap. I got through trapping 4 in about6 missions last night. of course if you dont have a pet to tank you will need to find a group and for some reason people would rather hunt pikets than voritor dashers.I really dont understand that because it seems to take a lot more time to kill the pikets.

Go to Naboo Get missions for Gulumas (Sp) and just get buffed put on the comp armor and throw wiremesh traps at them be done in 2 hours

In case you didn't notice, the amount of trapping XP you get for trapping a creature is the same as the amount of scouting P you get for harvesting from it. So if you're raking in the scouting XP on a certain creature, start trapping them as well.
