Thread: Aggroed while mask scent is up

We've noticed this a few times. I'm trying to get some attention on it.

Betcha it's rasps or kreetles.
They have been granted a stealth nerf to aggro while we are still maskscented and no message is given. Devs love them, they get lots of bennies.
Rumor says in the next patch,Rasps will have toxic poop as an additional weapon. They will be able to make your clothes decay, regardless of insurance, merely by pooping on you. Kreetles are getting toxic droppings, step init and your boots rot off.

I kept getting nailed last night by Rancors while my mask scent was up. Was rather frustrating as I was trying to get a DNA sample off a bull rancor... and the 2 regular rancors would run up and beat me down while I was in the process of sampling with the mask scent still live.

Happened to me too , just now, on endor. Every single mob smells me!

2/0/2/0 Ranger.
Masked up, headed out, getting ?s !s and then aggros, without a maskscent check at all. When I try to drop maskscent I get the message:
You cant mask scent while concealed. (or something to that effect).
I am 100% sure I used maskscent, and not /conceal. Besides, I dont even have a single camo kit with me.
That its a bug, ok, but ive logged out of the game completely, and came back to no effect. What can I do to "fix" this. Or am I just screwed untilthe "server-reset" or worse? Nothing about this in the holocron either

Scenario: Heading to harvester near Mos Oasis (Ahazi server) on Tatooine. Nearby is a lair of cannibal dews. OK, so they can kill me. Easy. No problem. Put up maskscent (4/0/4/0 scout here)they're still about 40m way, can grab goodies out of harvester and check maint/energy problem and scoot.
Well, sure. no problem. One of the dews detects me...no system message, no icon drop, but I've got angry cannibal dew whoopin' on my butt. So, I put up a fight, toss a poision on his leathery hide, and he incaps me when I wait for that stim I just administered to show up on my HAM. I lay around for 90 seconds, incap ends, I stim myself up. Same dew, from 60m away, detects me (nearer lair matecannibal dews ignore me) and lumbers on up like a big puppy (like my mount dew Huey) but angry (like Huey when he spots a swooper or meatlump). This dew however has had 2 minutes of one of my poison Cs on him, so his H bar is down to 1. I take him down with one shot. Other dews, closer than the one I poisoned, continue to ignore me.
I get my crap tat fiberplast out of the harvester, reset it for the new spawn of crap tat fiberplast (I'm preparing for the doc grind), check maintenance, and book.
Maskscent up the entire time.
Something is just not right here.

Heh! The power of poop!I want a bio-hazard weapon then - shoots poop pellets or something. To bad they don't have a /fart emote. Would be awesome - you eat some sort of food, and fart toxic gas - similar to a CM's poison.
